Hi, I'm Joe—born and raised in Seattle, Washington in the USA.
Teaching English has been my passion for over a decade now. For the past four years, I've been living in Hamburg, Germany, sharing my love for the English language with learners of all ages. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of students, helping them achieve their language goals.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy going to the gym, traveling, and playing video games with friends. It's been an incredibly rewarding journey, and I'm excited for what the future holds!

Learning a language can be hard—but it doesn’t have to be! My lessons are personalized, fun, and focus on using English like a native speaker does.
I’m available to teach in-person both at businesses and private homes in Hamburg. Online lessons are also possible.

From chatting with English-speaking colleagues or clients to crafting a professional email, business English can be so many things. I want to make it a fun process, and highlight the differences between German and English in the workplace.

Let's talk about it! Some learners prefer a free-flowing conversation to simply practice speaking and listening. This is a great way to identify areas for improvement with pronunciation, emphasis, and intonation.

More flexibility means learning from the comfort of your home (or wherever you are!). Using virtual whiteboard technology, I can share my notes in real-time and then email lesson plans for future reference.
